SPAY NEUTER INCENTIVE PROGRAM (SNIP) - ONLINE APPLICATION

The Ketchikan Humane Society Spay and Neuter Incentive Program (SNIP) is a voucher program to help residents in southern Southeast Alaska cover the costs of pet spaying and neutering their pets. We strongly believe that spaying and neutering pets is the best way to keep them healthy and happy and the best way to prevent unwanted animals in our community.   If you or someone you know needs financial assistance to alter a cat or a dog, please consider our program for assistance.

Who is Eligible for SNIP?

All southern Southeast Alaska residents (Ketchikan, Metlakatla and Prince of Wales) are welcome to apply for SNIP. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Approval for this program is based, in part, on financial need.

If you have already scheduled spay/neuter surgical appointment with a Veterinary Clinic you do NOT QUALIFY for SNIP.

You must be at least 18 years of age to complete this form.

This form must be completed by the named applicant.

The SNIP program does not cover feral cats or animals in foster or temporary homes.
